Dr Charles T Hazelrigg, D.M.D.Charles T. Hazelrigg III, D.M.D.

Dr. Hazelrigg is a Lexington native who graduated from Lexington High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from the University of South Carolina Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Medical Humanities.  While in college he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and worked at Lexington Medical Center as a phlebotomist and in operating room maintenance.  He received his doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina and is a proud member of the South Carolina Dental Association (Central District), the Greater Columbia Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.  Dr. Hazelrigg continues his education by consistently enrolling in postgraduate courses.   This commitment to life-long learning ensures that his patients will receive state-of-the-art dental techniques and technologies.   This allows patients to receive the highest quality and most comfortable dentistry possible.


Megan Green McCollum, RDH, ASH, BHSMegan Green McCollum, RDH, ASH, BHS

Megan has been our office’s primary hygienist since 1999.  She is a Columbia native and Lexington High School graduate.  She earned her Associates Degree in Health Science with an emphasis on Dental Hygiene and added accreditation in infiltration anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring.  She also has graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science.  Megan maintains continuing education through numerous dental hygiene courses.


Joyce Manus Smith, CDAJoyce Manus Smith, CDA

Joy is a native of West Columbia and has served the dental community for over 36 years as a dental assistant.  Joy graduated second in her class of 1972 at Columbia Regional Technical College (now known as Midlands Technical College).  She is a certified dental assistant who holds certification to administer nitrous oxide, is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association, South Carolina Dental Assistant Association, and a local member of the Columbia Dental Assistants Association.  She has served in this practice since 1995 and through her love of dentistry and the patients of this practice she maintains involvement in multiple continuing education programs that allow her to provide the utmost in care.
